biennale.py is the first virus written in the programming language Python – therefore it is only able to infect computers which have a working version of the Python Environment installed. In only 37 lines of code, functions and variables ‘narrate’ its execution by means of the metaphor of a party. The virus was presented at the Biennale in Venice in 2001. |
